Green Bay, WI
The Green Bay office of the Department of Motor Vehicles was in serious need of renovation and expansion when IEI General Contractors won a bid to serve as project manager in completing the $1.1 million project.
The majority of the building was gutted and remodeled during a five-month project during the spring and summer of 2015. The project called for relocating the entry vestibule and adding more office space, replacing the asphalt shingle roof and skylight, windows, interior flooring, carpet and lighting, insulation system and mechanical systems. IEI teams completing the demolition, concrete, carpentry and masonry phases.
Crews also constructed a family restroom adjacent to the existing public restrooms and corrected any accessibility issues in those areas, replaced ceiling tiles and cabinetry, improved the building’s security and fire alarm systems, and upgraded its voice/data cabling.
