Work Includes Projects for Prevea Health, St. Mary’s Hospital and Bellin Health

Leading the Area in Commercial Building Contractors

DE PERE, Wis. – Healthcare organizations in Green Bay, Wisconsin, are relying on IEI General Contractors Inc. to provide commercial building contractors services for facilities upgrades.

The De Pere-based firm is providing general contracting services, site preparation, concrete and carpentry work for Prevea Health, St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center and Bellin Health.

Prevea and St. Mary’s Hospital Projects

IEI General Contractors is overseeing a series of projects on the St. Mary’s Hospital campus on Green Bay’s west side, which also includes Prevea Health operations. In addition to serving as the commercial building contractor, IEI crews also provided demolition, concrete, masonry, and carpentry services.

The projects include nearly $16 million of work and equipment divided among the new Prevea Regional Orthopedic Center; and for St. Mary’s Hospital, a new One Day Services Outpatient Surgery Unit, nursing center, and central sterilization unit.

The Prevea Regional Orthopedic Center and St. Mary’s One Day Services Outpatient Surgery Unit are adjacent to each other and provide convenient access for physicians and patients. The new facilities are located on the second floor of the hospital’s west wing, directly above the St. Vincent Regional Cancer Center and Green Bay Oncology.

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) owns St. Mary’s and St. Vincent hospitals, and 50 percent of Prevea Health. Prevea’s physicians own the other 50 percent.

 

Bellin Health Clinic Project

IEI General Contractors recently moved onsite to begin work for Bellin Health at its clinic location in the village of Howard, 2714 Riverview Drive.

The project includes a 5,674-square-foot addition to the north side of the building; new finishes, floors and lighting to the clinic’s existing 9,200 square feet of space; and 50 percent more parking space for the expanding facility.
